Building an online fan base
Having won the Premier League in 2017, Chelsea FC headed off to China and Singapore for a series of exhibition games. We were tasked with expanding the club’s online presence by reaching new followers and engaging old ones. The goal was to create excitement around the club’s visit to China through entertaining content, while simultaneously preserving Chelsea’s story.
With solid creative work featuring a number of Chelsea’s top players under our belt, we set about seeding videos across a number of social platforms. This was supported by an influencer campaign featuring dozens of bloggers. The results; over 50 million impressions, 15 million video views and a 10,000% increase in social engagement.
